Mega Last Lip Color from Wet 'n Wild

I bought the Mega Last Lip Color from Wet 'n Wild last week. I've never really tried Wet 'n Wild Lipsticks before because I never thought they would be good quality. However, I heard so many good things about their lip products that I just thought I'd give it a try. I only got two colors and they were Just Peachy (903C) and Wine Room (906D).

When you purchase these products, most of them don't show a name. If you look at the bottom of most lipsticks it usually says the name of the color, but these lipsticks just show the number (ex. 903C). The only time you'll see the name of the lipstick is on the plastic rapper which it is rapped around in. I think having the name of the lipstick on the rapper is useless because you'll end up throwing it away.

The left color (which is the light pinkish color is Just Peachy and the right color is Wine Room).

Pros:

• Doesn't make my lips feel chappy or dry like most lipsticks do.
• GREAT color pay off.
• Doesn't smell weird.
• Cheap price (may vary depending on where you live)
• It last pretty long!!!

Cons:

• The packaging  really does make it look cheap!
• Not showing the name on the bottom of the lipstick lol. It's just...odd.

Overall:

If you can't afford high-end, fancy lipsticks, then Wet 'n Wild lipsticks is great for you. These particular lipsticks cost around $2.99 in US drug stores, and they even have cheaper lipsticks that are 99 cents. I'm not sure if the 99 cents lipsticks are as great as the $2.99 lipsticks cause I haven't tried them out yet. In addition, I feel like the Mega Last Lip Color from Wet 'n Wild are better than my MAC lipsticks (sorry MAC!). The reasons why are because the product didn't dry my lips out like my MAC lipstick did, and the color was intense after one swipe! How often do you EVER find a cheap lipstick with great quality?!? AND I also noticed it didn't have that weird lipstick smell or taste. These products didn't really smell like anything...which is a MAJOR plus for me! I have some Loreal lipsticks and the smell reminds me of fish oil...yuck! So, if you haven't tried this out yet...please do! And also, let me know if you like the product or not =) I love hearing from you all =)!

Best mask ever from a DRUG STORE! =)

If you're on a budget and don't want to spend too much on a mask, then the Mint Julep Masque is definitely right for you. This cost me about 4 dollars at Walgreen, and I also believe you can ONLY find this at Walgreen as well. The reason why I like this mask so much is because I love how it's minty. Once you put it on your face, you'll begin to feel a tingly sensation. Also, I have very oily skin and this has helped reduce my oily complexion and help reduce pimples and even pores! So hurry up to your locale Walgreen and pick this baby up now!

My New Haircut

I didn't ask for much when I went to the hair salon last Thursday. All I asked for were some bangs and side layers. I was going to get a full layer in order to add some structure to my hair, but I decided I'd rather wait two more months to get more layers. I want to maintain long hair for as long as I can! Lol

I love COACH. I love the design, the colors, and EVERYTHING about their company! I'm just simply a true Coach Fan. I bought my first Coach purse when I had a trip Atlantic City, NJ last March...and I must say, that purse was the best purchase I made while I was at the east coast =)

LOTD (Look of the DAY!)

This is probably one of my neutral or "everyday" looks. And excuse the fact that my hair is messy in these pics. I went to a theme park called Circus Circus with Chris, his sister and her friend, and I took these pics once I came home. I'm surprised my foundation and my eye brows stand on the whole time too. Maybe I'll post a little review about the Revlon Foundation and a tutorial on how I do my brows later =).

Summer Reads for 2010 =)

Reasons why I want to read these books:

1. 
   
   About Face by Scott Barnes: I visited Bubblegarm's blog last month and I read her blog about this book. I was amazed on how Scott Barnes book showed different make-up tricks for different ethnic backgrounds. When it came to coverage, he gave advice on what color concealer to use for your skin tone. Since I'm a little dark-skinned ( especially over the summer), I usually have trouble looking for the right concealer or foundation. My lack of knowledge for finding the right undertone for me has always been a disaster...even till now! So I hope to read book and look through the tips he has for women like me =).
2. 
   
   Makeup Manual by Bobbi Brown: Yes everyone, another make-up book...however, it's from a different make-up artist this time. For those of you who don't know Bobbi Brown, she's one of the most extraordinary make-up artists in the make-up industry. She has her own make-up line called Bobbi Brown and you can find most of her products in places like Sephora. Since I love Bobbi Brown as a make-up artist I thought it was great that she has a book out to share her skill. The book has step by step diagrams which is great for those of us who are new or scared of trying on make-up.

   Naturally Thin by Bethenny Frankel: If you watch Real Housewives of NYC then you know who Bethenny Frankel is!!! She is beautiful, witty, smart, funny, and has a freakin' HOT BODY! I'm just a huge Frankel fan....it's not even funny. I dream of having a body just like hers! But anyway, I've heard so many great things about her book and how it has changed people's lives (and waist line). Even though I've never read a dieting book in my LIFE, her theories are mainly common sense and she very straight-forward from what I've seen, read and heard so far. I'm so excited to read and maybe even BUY this book because our health is very important and it's definitely something we should invest on.

   The Secret: This is going to seem stupid but I've been wanting to read this book since high school. The only problem is that every time I go to the library to see if it's available...it's never freakin' there! It's making me mad because I don't like to buy books right away unless I'm truly convinced that it's the right book for me! I mean, I've been wanting to read this book since 12th grade....now I'm 20! I guess this book is still popular as heck around my neck of the woods. Well, anyway...a reason why I want to read this book is because a friend of mine back in high school said this book is pretty life changing and it gives you advice about being happy. Once I heard that, I wanted to read it right away...and maybe even  punch the next person who was going to put their hands on it. Cause I'll be honest, I'm ALL about happiness...and who isn't? I feel like each and every single one of us is always looking for something that can truly make us happy or even give us a little guidance in the right direction. I mean, I'm not saying this book will make you happier than ever but I think it could inspire you =) and inspiration is something I'm always looking for =D.

6 Facts

For those of you who don't know me, here's some facts.

1. I'm obsessed with food. It's everything to me. I think I love it more than make-up.
2. Make-up is something I truly love. I'll admit, I do like to get dolled up whenever I go out. It's fun cause I get to experiment with different looks each time =)
3. I'm a student at UNLV majoring in Psychology! WOOT WOOT!!! GO LIBERAL ARTS!..and...REBELS!

5. I do stress over the little things at times because details are very important to me. I'm just a crazy person who doesn't like error and disappointment.
6. Whenever my stress gets out of hand, I either call up or text a few trusted people, pray, OR practice some yoga =). Yoga has recently been daily thing for me. It relieves my stress and shapes me up ;)!!!
